We were so sorry to learn of the passing of Sam,  He and I played sports together at CCS (football basketball baseball and track).  We lost contact with each other after I graduated and moved from Cuba.  We connected again when we came back to visit.  He was with the "boys" at the Kopper Keg and it was a great reunion.  My wife, Bette, met him for the first time and simply adored him.  He truly was a wonderful person.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  We will miss seeing him when we come to visit Cuba and we know all of his family and friends will treasure all the wonderful memories we have of Sam.

I was very much shocked at Sams passing  I had promised many times to be there in Cuba see all my friendsbefore too much time had passed.  I am late again for a special friend a close buddy who I grew up with, smoked our first ciggartte with  ran raced with and played our school sports with  Sam was always there   I went in the military Sam to Acme electric We both married and had children  I visited Cuba in frequently and the years Passed and now Sam has too he was always my friend,my beer drinking buddy and I was not able to visit as I promised so many times.  I will be there for our 60th reunion too late as usual but I want to feel Joanne say its ok as I hold her hand and we shed a tear for all our friends.  Goodby Sam
