Robert Newton Grand Prairie, Texas We were so sorry to learn of the passing of Sam, He and I played sports together at CCS (football basketball baseball and track). We lost contact with each other after I graduated and moved from Cuba. We connected again when we came back to visit. He was with the "boys" at the Kopper Keg and it was a great reunion. My wife, Bette, met him for the first time and simply adored him. He truly was a wonderful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We will miss seeing him when we come to visit Cuba and we know all of his family and friends will treasure all the wonderful memories we have of Sam. Robert and Bette Newton
